Bentley Torcal: Introducing Bentley's First Fully Electric Luxury SUV

The Bentley Torcal marks an important new chapter for one of
the world's most respected luxury automotive brands. Scheduled to make its
global debut in London on September 23, 2026, the Torcal will be Bentley's
first fully electric production vehicle and the fourth model line in its
contemporary range.

Joining the Bentley Bentayga, Continental GT and Flying
Spur, the Torcal will bring fully electric performance to a distinctly Bentley
experience - one defined by exceptional craftsmanship, effortless power,
contemporary technology and extensive personalization.

"Bentley Torcal electric luxury SUV preview."

What Is the Bentley Torcal?

The Bentley Torcal is an all-new, fully electric luxury SUV
designed to complement Bentley's existing model range. It is not an electric
replacement for the Bentayga. Instead, the Torcal introduces a new size,
profile and driving experience for clients interested in electric mobility
without sacrificing the comfort, craftsmanship or presence associated with
Bentley.

At approximately five meters in length, the Torcal will be
slightly smaller than the Bentley Bentayga. Bentley describes it as a luxury
urban SUV, combining a more maneuverable footprint with the commanding
proportions and grand touring capability expected from the marque.

Full specifications will be announced during the vehicle's
official unveiling. Bentley has indicated a targeted electric driving range of
more than 300 miles, with final U.S. range estimates to follow the applicable
certification process.

A New Bentley Design Language

The Torcal will introduce a contemporary evolution of
Bentley design while remaining immediately recognizable as a member of the
Bentley family.

Initial imagery shows a confident stance, pronounced rear
haunches and a gently descending roofline. Slim horizontal rear lamps establish
a clear visual difference from the oval lights of the Bentayga, while the
vehicle's proportions balance SUV versatility with a more sculpted silhouette.

One of the Torcal's defining exterior elements will be its
new jewel-like diamond grille. Because a fully electric vehicle does not
require a traditional open radiator grille, Bentley's designers have
transformed this familiar feature into a bold visual statement.

The result connects the Torcal to more than a century of
Bentley design while giving the new model an identity of its own.

The Bentley Diamond, Reimagined

The diamond pattern has appeared throughout Bentley vehicles
for generations. Its origins can be traced to the cross-hatched controls of
Bentley models from the 1930s, where the pattern provided both improved grip
and distinctive detailing.

Over time, the diamond became part of Bentley's broader
design language, appearing in grilles, upholstery, headlamps, veneers and
precision-machined controls.

In the Bentley Torcal, this signature will extend beyond
physical materials. Bentley collaborated with Cumbria Crystal to produce
hand-cut crystal objects that were filmed as light passed through them. These
images helped create a digital display with authentic depth, variation and
character.

It is an inventive combination of traditional craftsmanship
and modern technology - two qualities that have always been central to Bentley.

Handcrafted Bentley Luxury in an Electric SUV

The Torcal's electric architecture provides a new setting
for the materials and craftsmanship associated with Bentley's factory in Crewe,
England.

Leather, veneers, polished metals, crystal-inspired details
and carefully finished controls will contribute to an interior designed around
both visual beauty and tactile quality. Essential vehicle functions will
continue to benefit from physical controls, complementing the Torcal's digital
displays with the intuitive operation expected in a Bentley.

Personalization will remain a central part of the ownership
experience. Additional information about exterior colors, hides, veneers,
equipment and Mulliner commissioning opportunities will be released as the
Torcal approaches production.

Electric Performance, Delivered the Bentley Way

Electric power is naturally suited to Bentley's tradition of
effortless performance. Immediate torque can provide strong, seamless
acceleration, while the quiet drivetrain creates an ideal foundation for a
refined passenger environment.

The Torcal is being developed to deliver more than speed
alone. Its performance character will emphasize smoothness, composure and
driver confidence - the same qualities that distinguish Bentley's grand tourers
and luxury SUVs.

Bentley Chairman and CEO Dr. Frank-Steffen Walliser has
described the Torcal as potentially the most considered vehicle in Bentley's
history. Power output, battery capacity, charging capability and detailed
performance figures will be announced as part of the model's official
presentation.

A Distinctive Sound Created from Real Instruments

Bentley is developing an original powertrain soundtrack for
the Torcal. Rather than reproducing the sound of a conventional engine, Bentley
studied the rhythm and emotional character of its celebrated V8.

The Torcal's sonic identity was created using performances
from real musical instruments, including drums, viola and bass guitar. The
resulting sound responds to the driver's inputs, increasing the sense of
engagement as the vehicle accelerates.

This approach allows the Torcal to establish an authentic
voice for electric performance while drawing inspiration from Bentley's history
of powerful and memorable engines.
